THE SECOND MINISTERIAL MEETING OF THE GROUP OF FRIENDS OF SUSTAINABLE TRANSPORT TOOK PLACE
On November 27, 2024, in the «Archabil» hotel in Ashgabat, as part of the international conference and exhibition «International Transport and Transit Corridors: Interconnection and Development – 2024» the second ministerial meeting of the Group of Friends of Sustainable Transport took place.
This meeting was attended by leaders and representatives from ministries and transport agencies of the country, heads of specialized United Nations agencies, international and regional organizations, heads of diplomatic missions, and representatives from countries within the Group of Friends of Sustainable Transport, as well as transport industry experts and media representatives.
In their speeches, the participants emphasized the importance of improving the group's work, uniting efforts to address transport and logistics issues, reducing regional and global barriers, and supporting initiatives to develop transport infrastructure in UN member states.
At the end of the meeting, the participants expressed gratitude to the Hero Arkadag and the Esteemed President for their significant contribution to the development of transport diplomacy and the creation of sustainable transport opportunities for humanity. They wished the Hero Arkadag and the Arkadagly Hero Serdar sound health, long life, and success in their work aimed at the well-being of the people and humanity.
