An Exhibition-Fair Titled ''Kindness, Changing the World'' Was Held
In accordance with paragraph 7 of the final document of the International Conference,
which states "We recognised that global warming, depletion of water resources, desertification,
soil erosion and a number of other environmental disasters are problems of present and future
generations. In this regard, emphasized that special attention should be paid to matters related to
the protection of children’s health, their environmental education, providing them with necessary
material and moral support" on April 22, 2025, the Institute of International Relations
of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted an exhibition-fair
dedicated to World Earth Day titled “Kindness, Changing the World” among students
of higher educational institutions across the country. The event was attended by
public figures of Turkmenistan, representatives of foreign embassies and
international organizations operating in the country, as well as professors and
students.
The main goal of the event was to encourage youth contributions to the
Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care named after
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, in the spirit of national traditions of humanism and
support for the vulnerable. Each university presented an exhibition corresponding
to its area of specialization. Guests were offered traditional treats, national
decorative items, “alaja,” jewelry, and delightful gifts.
The proceeds from the exhibition-fair were donated to the Charitable
Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care named after Gurbanguly
Berdimuhamedov. As Hero Arkadag has noted, one of the priority tasks of state
policy in our Independent Motherland is ensuring the physical and spiritual well-
being of the younger generation, as well as the health of mothers and children.
Comprehensive measures are being consistently implemented in this direction
across the country. The establishment of the Charitable Foundation for Assistance
to Children in Need of Care named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stands as a
testament to the caring attention given to every child in our prosperous nation.
Such humanitarian initiatives stem from the history of our people and the noble
traditions of our ancestors.
Recently, the city of Arkadag hosted an international conference titled “The
Year of Peace and Trust: Developing International Cooperation for the Sake of
Children,” dedicated to the 4th anniversary of the Charitable Foundation for
Assistance to Children in Need of Care named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
Numerous representatives from different countries around the world took part in
the forum. The agenda included topics related to the health of the younger
generation, the development of their talents, and the strengthening of international
cooperation in these areas.
Independent and permanently Neutral Turkmenistan attaches great
importance to the active development of cooperation with countries around the
world and authoritative international organizations in various fields. The healthcare
system occupies an important place in this regard. It is worth highlighting the
activities of the Charitable Foundation, aimed both at protecting children's health
and strengthening international ties.
In April 2025, a Turkmen delegation led by the Vice-President for Medical
Activities of Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care
named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Oguljahan Atabayeva, paid a working
visit to the Principality of Monaco. During the visit, the Vice-President of the
Foundation met with the President of the National Council of Monaco, Thomas
Brezzo, with whom she discussed matters related to healthcare, environmental
protection, and international cooperation in these areas.
The members of the Turkmen delegation also met with Prince Albert II of
Monaco. During the conversation, they discussed the development of sports, the
promotion of healthy lifestyles, the strengthening of peaceful relations, and the
fostering of friendly and fraternal ties between nations.
We wish our Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar, who are doing
tremendous work for the happy future of the younger generation of our country,
sound health and prosperity, and success in all their important undertakings!
