BRIEFING DEDICATED TO THE FRIENDLY VISIT WAS HELD
On March 21, 2026, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a briefing organized by the “Altyn Asyr: Turkmenistan” and “Yashlyk” Television Channels. The event was dedicated to the friendly visit of Hero Arkadag to the People's Republic of China, as well as the political significance of the National Leader's interview with China's CGTN Television Channel.The briefing was attended by the faculty members, and students of the institute. The speakers at the event explained, through concrete examples, the shared worldview of Turkmenistan and China, as well as the similarity of their goals and tasks regarding global peace and security, expressing their views and opinions on the matter.
As emphasized in the speeches, a special role in bilateral relations is assigned to the science and education system. It is noteworthy that specialists in the Chinese language are currently being trained at the country's oldest higher education institutions:Magtymguly Turkmen State University; Dovletmammet Azady Turkmen National Institute of World Languages.
Chinese specialists are providing close assistance in organizing these studies at a high level. Additionally, future international relations specialists at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan are also taught the Chinese language. Furthermore, the programs of the “Turkmenistan” TV channel are broadcast worldwide in seven languages, including Chinese. There is also a great interest in learning the Turkmen language in Chinese universities, which demonstrates the high level of cultural and humanitarian relations.
It was noted that cultural and humanitarian ties between Turkmenistan and the PRC form the foundation of international cooperation between the two countries. In this regard, the speakers at the briefing highlighted the high significance of Hero Arkadag's interview with the Chinese “CGTN” television Channel.
During the briefing, students asked questions of interest and shared their views on various aspects of bilateral relations. At the conclusion of the event, the participants expressed their words of gratitude and appreciation to Hero Arkadag and the Honorable President, Arkadagly Hero Serdar, who glorify our national diplomacy across the world.
