LANGUAGES - THE KEY TO FRIENDSHIP
On April 25, 2025, the closing ceremony of the Japanese and Chinese Language Week, titled “Acquaintance with the Culture of China and Japan,” was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The event was organized as part of the scientific club "Lingvo World" under the Department of World Languages.
The 3rd and 4th year students studying Japanese and Chinese language attended the event. They got acquainted with the culture and customs of both countries.
A highlight of the event was the presentation of students' independently prepared works, including projects on “There is such a custom in China” and “I can write hieroglyphs.” A combined self-assessment quiz and a specially designed cultural exhibition further enriched the event, engaging students proficient in various languages. Participants found correct answers to questions about China, Japan, and their languages.
The event emphasized the important role that language learning plays in fostering intercultural understanding and mutual appreciation, truly demonstrating that languages are a vital key to international friendship.
