Training Session entitled «World Trade Organization and Its Legal Aspects»
On May 29-30, 2024, a training session entitled «World Trade Organization and Its Legal Aspects» was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. This event was organized jointly by the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan and the International Trade Center (ITC).
Teachers and students from various institutions participated in this training session via digital system. These institutions included the International University for the Humanities and Development, the International University of Oil and Gas named after Yagshygeldi Kakayev, the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A.Niyazov, Oguzhan University of Engineering and Technology of Turkmenistan, the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management, the Turkmen State Institute of Finance, the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan, the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction and the Institute of Engineering, Technical and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan.
During the training session, international experts discussed the history of the World Trade Organization and the significance of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT).
At the end of the training session, participants engaged in a question and answer session, during which international experts provided answers to questions with specific examples.
