SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF THE “BRAIN-RING” COMPETITION DEDICATED TO HORSES
On March 26, 2026, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a brain-ring competition titled “Heavenly Horses – An Example of Heroic Courage”. The primary objective of the event was to promote the 2026 motto, “Independent, Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses” among student youth, while also increasing their love and interest in Turkmen horses and highlighting the role of horses in Turkmen culture, history, and art.
The competition, organized by the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy, involved five-member teams of first and second-year students from the faculties of International Relations, International Law, International Economic Relations and International Journalism.
The competition consisted of three stages. In the first stage, teams prepared presentations based on Hero-Arkadag’s book “Atda wepa-da bar, sapa-da”, which were limited to seven minutes. During the second stage, students answered 20 written questions regarding the same book. In the final stage, teams were given to answer questions about horses from the book “Paýhas çeşmesi”, published under the leadership of Hero-Arkadag.
At the conclusion of the event, the winners were determined based on the total points awarded by the jury for all three stages. The successful teams were honored with Certificates of Honor and commemorative gifts on behalf of the Institute. This competition played a significant role in celebrating the national motto of 2026 and strengthening the sense of pride among students regarding the heritage of Turkmen horses.
