Seminar “Engaging youth in preventing violent extremism”
On December 17, 2021, a seminar on “Engaging Youth in Preventing Violent Extremism” was organized by the European Union with the United Nations. The seminar on “Strengthening Resistance to Violent Extremism in Asia” was attended by students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the International University for the Humanities and Development, members of the Ashgabat Council for the Prevention of Violent Extremism and National trainers of the project.
At the seminar participants made speeches about the role of young people in the fight against violent extremism and radicalization.
At the end of the seminar, the students asked questions and made suggestions on the topics they were interested in.
