THE FIRST ACADEMIC SESSION
On February 9, 2026, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted the first academic session of the second semester of the 2025-2026 academic year. The session was organized under the motto “Independent, Neutral Turkmenistan: the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses.” The lecture was conducted by Jumaberdi Artykov, the Senior Lecturer of the Department of Theory and Practice of Journalism.
During the lecture, the mentor provided an extensive overview of the remarkable milestones achieved in science, education, and various other sectors throughout the glorious 35 years of Independence of Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan. Special emphasis was placed on the history of Turkmen journalism and the significant accomplishments recorded in this field to date. The session proved to be profoundly inspiring for the student youth.
The first academic session concluded with a rhythmic recitation by students of the magnificent poem “Bedew,” authored by the National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero Arkadag and dedicated to the glory of the Turkmen horse. Furthermore, excerpts from the book “Neutrality of Turkmenistan: the Bright Path of Peace and Trust” by the Esteemed President Arkadagly Hero Serdar were read aloud, further bolstering the sense of national pride among the youth.
The students participating in the session expressed their profound gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero Arkadag and the Esteemed President Arkadagly Hero Serdar for their invaluable efforts in providing exceptional opportunities for the younger generation to pursue excellence in education and creative endeavors.
