Road Traffic Safety is the Safety of Our Lives
On September 21, 2026, a panel discussion dedicated to road traffic safety was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The event was organized by the scientific club “Lingvo World” of the Department of World Languages, operating within the framework of the nation-wide, month-long campaign titled “Road Traffic Safety is the Safety of Our Lives.”
The primary objective of the gathering was to provide a comprehensive explanation of traffic regulations and to deliberate on preventive measures against traffic violations. Speakers emphasized the fundamental importance of road safety rules for every citizen, underscoring the necessity of strict compliance. Furthermore, the discussions highlighted the adverse socio-economic and personal impacts of traffic accidents and regulatory infractions on the general public.
A series of thematic presentations were delivered by first-year students. Specifically, following her, Bibimeryem Muhammetnurova and Oguljan Serdarova, both representing the Faculty of International Relations, co-delivered a speech on “Road Traffic Safety Rules”. Furthermore, Myrat Jeyhunov from the Faculty of International Law addressed the audience with his presentation titled “Road Safety -Peace of Mind”. Then, Medine Hudayberdiyeva from the Faculty of International Economic Relations presented on the topic “Road Safety is a Safety of Our Life”. Leyla Jumageldiyeva from the Faculty of International Journalism concluded the session with her presentation on “The Road Safety”.
The visual and analytical presentations prepared by the students effectively demonstrated the critical importance of adhering to established traffic regulations. Ultimately, this initiative significantly contributed to fostering civic responsibility, enhancing traffic culture among the youth, and advancing the overarching goal of ensuring public safety and peace on the nation’s roads.
