A training session on economic diplomacy
On May 24, 2023, at the Training Center for Important Areas of Diplomacy of Turkmenistan of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan a training session on the topic “Interconnection and compatibility of the Energy and Economic diplomacy of Turkmenistan” has been held for the students of the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management.
The lecture was conducted by Akmuhammet Jumaguliyev, a lecturer of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The importance of energy diplomacy in ensuring the harmonious development of international relations today, the possibilities of developing energy cooperation as an important direction of Turkmenistan's foreign policy were discussed in detail at the lesson. According to the lecturer’s explanation, the problem of conducting coordinated cooperation in the world energy sector and reliable delivery of energy resources to world market is one of the priorities of International policy.
Turkmenistan shows an example of a positive approach to the issues of ensuring safe and stable supply of hydrocarbons to world markets by pursuing a strategy of diversifying energy exports and implementing multi-faceted projects in this regard. During the session, it was also noted that the provision of reliable and stable development in global energy relations depends on mutual cooperation at the international level.
At the end of the meeting, questions and answers were exchanged between the students and the lesturer.
