OSCE-Turkmenistan is the Highest Point of Cooperation
In our country, a lot of work is being done to develop the national education system and promote science in higher educational institutions, as well as to bring its advancement to the world level. Turkmenistan cooperates with a number of international organizations in the development of science, education and the legal system, as well as in all spheres of the country's economy.
One of the main partners of our country is the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). The organization is considered one of the largest security organization in the world. Turkmenistan is also a member of this prestigious organization. Currently, the OSCE includes 57 countries in Europe, Asia and North America. The main objective of the organization is an integrated approach to security based on large-scale cooperation.
Turkmenistan signed the Helsinki Final Declaration of Membership in the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in 1992. The representative of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), headquartered in Ashgabat, began operations in January 1999. The representative of the Organization is committed to enhancing Turkmenistan's relations and cooperation with the OSCE institutions, Turkmenistan's commitment to OSCE principles and its cooperation in all areas are strengthening.
From December 6-10, 2021, students and teachers of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the Turkmen State University named after Makhtymkuly, the International University for Humanities and Development and the Institute of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan, chaired by the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, conducted a training course on the topic “Compliance with international Standards on Human Rights in Criminal Proceedings“ during the course, effective lectures on jurisprudence were held, as well as discussions were arranged between students and members of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe.
