Meeting with representatives of the European Parliament
On June 20, 2023, a parliamentary meeting with the representatives of Mejlis of Turkmenistan and the European Parliament of the European Union was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. Professors and students from the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan participated in this meeting.
During the meeting, representatives of the European Parliament, Thomas Zdehowski, Chairman of the Delegation to the European Parliament Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan Parliamentary Cooperation Committees and for relations with Turkmenistan and Mongolia (DCAS), as well as member of the European Parliament from the Czech Republic, Atidze Alieva Veli, Second Deputy Chairman of DCAS, Member of the European Parliament from the Republic of Bulgaria, and other representatives of the European Parliament made speeches about the work of the Parliament, and its priority areas of diplomatic cooperation between Turkmenistan and the European Union.They emphesized the importance of parliamentary relations and strengthening the expediency of expanding further constructive cooperation between Turkmenistan and the European Union.
