The results of the online meeting dedicated to Earth Day have been summed up
On April 21, 2021, the results of an online meeting with representatives of the United Nations Children's Fund in Turkmenistan were summed up. The meeting, which was organized jointly by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in Turkmenistan, was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Education, the Young Ambassadors for Sustainable Development Goals, including students of the secondary schools No. 4, 29, 75, 76 of Ashgabat city, the secondary schools No. 27, 28 of Ak Bugday etrap of Ahal velayat, as well as students of the secondary school No. 23 of Gokdepe etrap of Ahal velavat.
The meeting focused on Earth Day activities and future work to be done. A number of interactive games have also been organized with students to encourage young people to achieve environmental cleanliness, to raise awareness about importance of recycling waste and paper. This has further increased awareness of students.
