We Wish Our Peer More Successes
On May 31, 2023, a creative meeting was held at the International University for the Humanities and Development in honor of the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Pyragy, the great thinker and classical poet of the East.
The meeting was attended by Ashyrmat Garly, editor of the department of the «Milli goshun» magazine of the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan, senior lecturer of the department of Applied Arts of the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan, member of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Ashgabat city, talented jeweler Ayjemal Charyeva, student of the Turkmen State Institute of Culture, wel-known poet Kerim Hallyev, Chynar Annamyradova, singer of Cultural Business Center of the Directorate of «Employee Food Supply and Services» of «Türkmengaz» State Concern, 4th year student of Magtymguly Turkmen State University, Kerimberdi Hakberdiyev, senior reporter of «Edebiyat we Sungat» newspaper, and students from higher education institutions participated.
During the meeting, the founder of Turkmen literature Magtymguly Fragi, and his creativity works were discussed. Also, young singers performed songs based on the poems of Magtymguly Fragi. At the end of the meeting, the results of the photojournalism contest «Dana Pyragy and the beautiful Turkmen nature» in honor of the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Fragi, which lasted from May 5 to 20, were announced. It is worth noting that our fellow student also won a prize in this competition. More precisely, Berdigylych Yazmyardov, the 1st year student of the International Journalism Faculty of the Institute of International Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan won the 3rd place among the students of the 1st degree, i.e. students studying journalism. We also wish our fellow students many new creative successes in the future.
