Media Literacy Course for Journalist Students and Workshop for Educators
On October 17-18, 2023, a “media-literacy course for students studying journalism and a master class for teachers studying in this field” was held in the building of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with the participation of the Ashgabat Center of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe.
This event is organized by the teachers and students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, International University of Humanities and Development, Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly participated.
The main goal of the training course was to increase the skills of national professionals in the field of media literacy. During the course, international experts gave an insight into the possibilities of the current level of media literacy in the example of world experience.
The course was very interesting and effective. Also, during the course, information was given on the important role of digital media in human life and the right ways to use it. The workshop provided a great opportunity to practice.
