Transport diplomacy at a new stage of development
On January 15, a solemn ceremony of congratulations was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan on the adoption of the “Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the development of transport diplomacy for 2022-2025” by the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan.
The ceremony was attended by Vice-Rector of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan B. Matliyev, Head of the Department of the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly, Professor A. Burunov, Head of the Department of Movement and Logistics of the Agency “Turkmen Railways” A. Hudayberdiyev, Vice-Rector of the Institute of Engineering, Technical and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan G. Penayev, Head of the Department of Marketing and International Relations of the Turkmenbashi International Seaport of the Agency “Turkmendenizyollary” P. Gylyjov, Senior Lecturer of the Department of International Economic Relations of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan P. Chariyev, Chairman of the First Organization of the Joint-Stock Company – Trade Unions “Automobile and Transport Services” of the Agency “Turkmenavtoulaglary” A. Ashirova, Flight Attendant of the Agency “Turkmen Airlines” of Turkmenistan Z. Tachmammedova, Deputy Head of the Department of the Customs Control of the State Customs Service K. Berdiyev and Lecturer of the Department of Social Sciences of the Institute of Telecommunications and Information Technologies of Turkmenistan O. Seyitzhanova.
The speeches focused on the development of the transport and logistics system at the international and regional levels and its initiatives in the field of transport, which received broad support from the world community, based on the proposals of our National Leader. This is evidenced by the unanimous adoption of the relevant resolutions of the UN General Assembly on the development of a sustainable transport system in 2014, 2015, 2017 and 2021, at the initiative of our esteemed President.
At the end of the ceremony, the participants expressed their sincere gratitude to the President for conducting the policy of friendship and peace in international relations.
