TRAINING COURSES ON TRANSPORT DIPLOMACY
On January 3, 2024, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan organized a regular training course on «Transport Diplomacy» of the Training Center for Important Areas of Diplomacy of Turkmenistan. Students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan were participated in it. The lesson was held on the topic «The possibilities of North-South and East-West transit corridors».
This training session were conducted by Rahman Seyitli, Chief Specialist of the Department of Foreign Economic Relations and Contracts of JSC «Transport and Logistics Center of Turkmenistan», Dovetmyrat Mammedov, Researcher of the Scientific Center for Strategic Studies of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, as well as Perhat Charyev, the head of the Department of International Economic Relations of our institute.
The experts noted the importance of «Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan-Iran» railway crossing is the shortest route from East Asia to the Persian Gulf countries. The lesson was conducted in a question-and-answer format. At the end of the lesson, the students received accurate answers to the questions they were interested in. The training course was very effective for the students.
