Scientific Seminar on Environmental Protection
On April 21, 2022, a scientific seminar on “Environmental protection and ecological policy of the President of Turkmenistan – a guarantee of sustainable development” was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The seminar was organized by the Department of Social Sciences together with the Department of International Economic Relations of the Institute. At the scientific seminar, Ogulgurban Ezimova, Acting Head of the Department of Social Sciences, Senior Lecturer, Ph.D., made a presentation on “Ecological Diplomacy of Turkmenistan – Guarantee of Human Ecology”, as well as Leyli Sariyeva, an employee of the Ministry of Justice of Turkmenistan and a graduate student of the Institute made presentation on “The Importance of Turkmenistan’s International Cooperation in Environmental Protection.”
The speakers emphasized about the significance of holding seminars on ecology and environmental protection to raise awareness of young people on the ecological policy and international initiatives of Turkmenistan in this field and to educate ecological habits in the youth.
