CEREMONY DEDICATED TO THE BOOK OF THE PRESIDENT OF TURKMENISTAN "ANAU-CULTURE ORIGINATED FROM MILLENNIA”
On April 2, 2024, at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan was held the ceremony dedicated of the book of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov called "Anau - culture originated from millennia". The work of the Turkmen Leader is devoted to the proclamation of the ancient city of Anau as the "cultural capital of the Turkic world" in 2024. This decision adopted at the session of the Permanent Council of TURKSOY, is a testimony to the high international authority of the Motherland and the fact that the enormous contribution of the Turkmen people to the development of the universal culture is recognized all over the world.
During the dedicating ceremony performed: Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan R.O.Meredov, Executive Secretary of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO Affairs, Hero of Turkmenistan Ch.Rustemova, Rector of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan J. Gurbangeldiyev, Head of the department of Theaters and Entertainment Institutions of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan A.Baltayev, Director of the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan M.Charyev, expert of the Institute of History and Archeology of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan R.Jommyyev, as well as lecturer A.Baimuradova.
The speeches, it was emphasized that masterpiece of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov is of a great importance in studying and widely promoting the glorious history and rich cultural heritage of our nation. It was noted that the work of art is picked with information, and it is all laid out in an artistic and understandable language. The publication of this book was a great gift for our compatriots in 2024, when the city of Anau was declared the "cultural capital of the Turkic world" under the slogan "Ocean of Wisdom of Magtymguly Pyragy".
The participants of the dedication ceremony noted that the new literary work of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov will be a valuable guide in educating the young generation in the spirit of patriotism, encouraging them to acquire new knowledge, inspiring our comrades to labor victories, and for his tireless efforts in the field of in-depth study of our rich national heritage, spreading it around the world and passing it on to the future generations. Afterwords they gratefully expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Turkmen Leader.
