AN EVENT DEDICATED TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE RED CROSS AND RED CRESCENT SOCIETY
The National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan, within the framework of the project “Supporting the auxiliary role of the National Society in humanitarian work”, held an educational event on the history of the establishment of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement on March 18, 2026 among students and masters studying law at your institute.
The event is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the National Red Crescent Society.
The National Red Crescent Society has been operating since 1926. May 8 of each year is celebrated as the World Day of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. This holiday was established in honor of the Swiss humanitarian, the founder of the Red Crescent, Henri Dunant.
At this event, volunteers of the National Red Crescent Society performed a performance dedicated to the establishment of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Society. This performance made a great impression on the participants.
