Meeting devoted to the development of mutual relations between Turkmenistan and Republic of Tajikistan
On February 6, 2023, a meeting between rector of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan J.Gurbangeldiev and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Republic of Tajikistan to Turkmenistan Farrukh Homiddin Sharifzoda was held. This meeting was devoted to the development of mutual relations between Turkmen-Tajik partnership.
During the meeting, rector of the Institute noted that the friendly relations between the two countries and exchanged views on further expanding relations in the field of education and science. Such productive cooperation in these fields are of great importance for developing the methods of teaching and exchange views on preparing future specialist of international level. Regular meetings with our partners are evidence of the multilateral diplomacy of our country’s policy. In addition, in the speeches, the representatives made a number of proposals for further fruitful development of cooperation between our Institute and the Embassy of Republic of Tajikistan in Turkmenistan.
After the meeting, a tour was organized for Mr. Farrukh Homiddin Sharifzoda, who briefly was acquainted with the scientific library and library of international relations in Turkish and English languages and the yurta (Ak oy) of our Institute.
