TURKMENISTAN AND THE UN: “PARTNERSHIP IN THE NAME OF PEACE AND DEVELOPMENT”
On October 30, 2025 a scientific conference titled “Turkmenistan and the UN: Partnership in the Name of Peace and Development” was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. Ogulgurban Ezimowa, senior teacher of the Department of Social and Science, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, Babahan Berdiyev, Aysoltan Jepbarova, teachers of the Academy of Civil Service under the President of Turkmenistan, Gultach Annayeva, Deputy Director for Treatment at the International Burn Centre of the Ministry For Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, Merjen Berdiyeva, a postgraduate student at the Department of Human and Topographic Anatomy, and Operative Surgery of the Myrat Garryvev Turkmen Medical State University, Selbi Jumageldiyeva, a master student of the Academy of Civil Service under the President of Turkmenistan, and professors, lecturers and students of the Institute attended this conference.
At the scientific conference, the speakers delivered speeches on the 80th anniversary of the UN General Assembly, a crucial stage in international efforts to strengthen peace and stability, as well as the vital role of the policy of neutrality in supporting and reinforcing global peace, security and sustainable development. They also discussed proposals for the creation of a regional center for climate change technologies in Central Asia. The presentations were enriched with its content.
At the end of the conference, the students posed relevant questions to the participants. This impressive scientific conference was of great significance in educating our young generation in the spirit of patriotism, peace, goodwill and competence.
