Turkmenistan and Romania - fruitful cooperation
In 21st of November 2022, an online roundtable discussion was held dedicated to the 30th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Romania. Online roundtable was conducted by the Vice-rector on Academic affairs of the Institute of International relations of the MFA Turkmenistan Mrs. Gulshat Yusupova, and Director general of the Romanian Diplomatic Institute Mrs Liliana Popescu-Birlan, senior lecturer of the Department of International relations and diplomacy of the Institute of International relations Mr. Begench Karayev, Director of the Romanian Diplomatic Institute, Mr. Dragos Monteescu, lecturer of the Department of the International relations and diplomacy of the Institute of International relations Mr. Hemragylych Nurmuhammedov and researcher at Babes-Bolyai University of Romania Mr. Ion Josan. The representatives of this online roundtable discussion made meaningful speeches on the following topics, such as Geostrategic position of Central Asia in the world, Romania in the EU and the East, Policy of Neutrality of Turkmenistan, Romania and Turkmenistan-regional aspects. They discussed bilateral relationship between the Institute of International relations of the MFA and Romanian Diplomatic Institute and exchanged views on further expanding the scope of cooperation in the field of education. In addition, in the speeches, the representatives made a number of proposals for further fruitful development of cooperation between our Institute and Romania.
At the end of the online roundtable discussion, both sides wished great success in fulfilling the further cooperation to strengthen interest dialogue on education issues between the two Institutions.
