Achievements of the Turkmen students in the International Mathematics Olympiad
On April 18, 2021, the students of higher educational institutions of our country took part in the VII Mathematical Olympiad of the Universities (NCUMC-2021) of the Northern Countries, organized by Saints-Petersburg National Research University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics and they have achieved a great success by participating it.
A total of more than 350 students from 40 higher educational institutions from different countries took part in this Olympiad. The students of the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly, the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after Seyitnazar Seydi, Oguz Khan University of Engineering and Technology of Turkmenistan, the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction , the International University of Humanities and Development, the Turkmen Agricultural University of named after S.A.Niyazov, the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan, the Institute of Engineering and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan participated in this Olympiad. Among them 7 students took first places and 26 prize-winning places.
Arazgul Ballyeva, a first-year student of the Faculty of International Economic Relations of our institute, Akmyrat Tirkeshov, a third-year student and also Tavus Ballyeva, a fourth-year student of the same institute, participated successfully in this international Olympiad which was held at the highest organizational level. It is gratifying that our student Akmurat Tirkeshov showed great results and took the first place and Arazgul Ballyeva was a prize-winner at the International Mathematics Olympiad.
