TURKMEN STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN “KITAP - TIME - 2026” FESTIVAL IN ASTANA
On September 11, 2026, the 5th Book Festival “Kitap -Time - 2026” was held at the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Representatives of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Kazakhstan (Astana), as well as students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan undergoing their internship at the Embassy, participated in the cultural event.
The book festival served as an important platform for the exchange of experience in the fields of literature, culture and education, with the participation of representatives from different countries, as well as for further developing cultural ties among peoples. The programme featured creative meetings, book presentations and various cultural events. The participation of the diplomatic mission of Turkmenistan in the forum was a clear reflection of the continued development of Turkmen-Kazakh cultural and humanitarian relations, as well as the effective promotion of cultural diplomacy.
Of particular significance was the participation of students of the National School of Turkmen Diplomacy, who are undertaking a 12-week internship in the friendly country. Participation in such events provides young specialists with valuable opportunities to take part in international cultural and diplomatic activities, engage with representatives of foreign diplomatic missions, and complement their theoretical knowledge with practical experience.
Furthermore, participation in such major forums during their internship is of considerable importance for developing students’ diplomatic communication and intercultural dialogue skills, while also contributing to the enhancement of the professional training of future specialists in international relations.
