International Publications on the Progress of Independent Turkmenistan
On September 24, 2021, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a presentation of magazines published abroad on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence. It was attended by the editors-in-chief of the country’s media, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the media, rectors of higher educational institutions of the country, teaching staff and students. The introductory ceremony was also attended by the editors-in-chief of foreign magazines via video communication. During the ceremony, Jumamyrat Gurbangeldiyev, Rector of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Kakamyrat Rejepov, Editor-in-Chief of Turkmenistan Newspaper, Batyr Myradov, Editor-in-Chief of Turkmen Dunyasi Magazine, Maysa Tayjykova, Editor-in-Chief of Zenan Kalby Magazine, and Habib Halmammedov, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the International University for the Humanities and Development, noted that special issues of foreign publications on the 30th anniversary of our country’s independence raise the prestige of our Homeland.
In addition, at the presentation ceremony Editor-in-chief of the Yerli Dushunje Magazine of the Republic of Turkey, Metin Gundogdu, the Member of the Justice and Development Party of Turkey for the city of Ordu, Editor-in-chief of the Istanbool Today Magazine Hayrettin Yirbilich, Neda Berger, Editor-in-Chief of the Galkynysh Magazine of Austria, Indervir Singh, Editor-in-Chief of Business Central Asia Magazine of India, Member of the Editorial Board of the Local Yerli Dushunje of the Republic of Turkey, Yalshin Topchi, Chief Adviser to the President of Turkey, and the Editor-in-Chief of the Magazine “The Diplomatic Insight” of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Muhammad Asif Nuri addressed the presentation ceremony. The speeches focused on the achievements of our country in politics, economy, science and culture under the leadership of our esteemed President during the years of Independence and the importance of our foreign policy, based on our status of permanent Neutrality, and aimed at ensuring peace in the region and beyond.
At the end of the ceremony, the participants expressed their sincere gratitude to our Hero Arkadag, who has made unparalleled efforts to spread the glory of our Homeland to the world and is doing great work for the happy life of our people.
