TRAINING SESSION ON THE TURKMEN-BELARUSIAN PARTNERSHIP
On May 22, 2025, a meeting was held between G. Yusupova, the Rector of
the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of
Turkmenistan and Belarusian delegation headed by A.Mehovich, the Vice-rector
of Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov of the Republic of Belarus
at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of
Turkmenistan.
At the beginning of the meeting, priority areas of bilateral cooperation
between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Belarus were discussed, in particular,
cooperation in the field of science and education.
Following the meeting, a training session on “Turkmen-Belarusian
opportunities in the education system” was held with the participation of A.
Mekhovich, Vice-Rector of Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov
of the Republic of Belarus. It was attended by members of the delegation of the
Republic of Belarus and the Rector of the Institute of International Relations of the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan as well as faculty and students.
During the lecture, the distinguished guests spoke about the achievements
and work being carried out between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Belarus in
the field of political-diplomatic, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian spheres, as
well as about the current friendly, mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation in the
development of the education system in both countries.
After the lecture, the distinguished guests visited to the Museum of the
History of Turkmen Diplomacy at the institute. There, they got acquainted with the
magnificent works that glorify Turkmenistan's foreign policy and history.
The training session left a positive impression on the students, who received
answers to their questions and showed great interest throughout.
