Roundtable
On March 15, 2021, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan jointly with the Ministry of Sports and Youth Policy of Turkmenistan, and the Sport TV Channel of Turkmenistan organized a roundtable entitled “Sports”. It was attended by Yulduz Yumabayeva, student of the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports, world champion in weightlifting, Meretguly Sahetmyradov, head coach of the Weightlifting Department of the Turkmenistan School of Sports of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Policy, Yalkapberdi Ashirmuradov, chief specialist of the Department of International Relations of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Policy, Merjen Gurbannazarova, Akmuhammet Jumaguliyev, the teachers of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and its students.
During the roundtable discussion, it was emphasized that the Turkmen athletes regularly participate in prestigious international competitions, demonstrate their skills and win prizes and medals at various levels. In addition, the great efforts of the President of Turkmenistan to turn our independent and neutral Motherland into a place of sport events were also stressed. At the end of the roundtable, the participants thanked our Hero Arkadag for the vast opportunities created in the field of sport.
