AN EFFECTIVE TRAINING COURSE
From October 3 to 5, 2022, a training course on raising awareness on the threat of violent extremism and radicalization that lead to terrorism was held at the Yyldyz Hotel in the capital of our country. The training course was organized by the OSCE Centre in Ashgabat.
The representatives of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Sport and Youth Policy of Turkmenistan, the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan, as well as the teachers and students of the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the International University of Humanities and Development, the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan participated in the training course. The training course was conducted by international experts Dovran Halov and Nargiz Achildiyeva in the Russian language.
During the course, trainers gave interesting and illustrating presentations about the main causes of extremism, radicalism and terrorism. The participants also exchanged their opinions about how to prevent malicious threats by asking questions and answering them.
We also participating in the course broadened our horizons, gained useful information about violent threats and got valuable advice from the experts on how to fight against them.
