An educational tour to the Institute of History and Archaeology of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan
On March 9, 2022, we, as participants of the intellectual contest titled “Young Messengers of Peace” had an opportunity to visit the Institute of History and Archaeology of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan. There we got acquainted with mausoleums of Tekesh Khan, Turabek Khanum, Najmeddin Kubra and other buildings belonging to the Khwarazmian Empire.
The aim of the tour was to get acquainted with these heritage and increase our knowledge about the life of our ancestors. Highly developed Khwarazmian architecture made a great impression on all the students.
This tour inspired us to learn more about the cultural history of one of the most powerful Empires of the Turkmen nation – Khwarazmian Empire.
