The meeting of students with representatives of Turkmenportal
On July 25, 2022 the students of the Institute of International relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan of faculty of International journalism studying in “Political communication and Internet journalism” had a meeting of with representatives of the Turkmen Internet edition Turkmenportal. During the meeting the head of department of edition the Internet portal – Serdar Annayev, the director of department of marketing – Leonid Demidov and also the leading journalist of the online edition – Georgy Aslanyan told about peculiarities of their work.
The students were acquainted with the history of the creation of Turkmenportal, the role of digital education in modern society, as well as methods of work in the field of internet media. According to Serdar Annaev, journalism is not just a job, but also a way of life. Specialists in this area must be inquisitive, communicable and very responsible.
Among the advantages of the profession of a journalist, which was highlighted by Georgiy Aslanyan, is the acquisition and development of many skills, such as conducting interviews, writing texts, taking photos and preparing other materials.
