TRAINING COURSE ON WATER DIPLOMACY WAS SUCCESFULLY HELD
On June 14, 2024, a training course on the rational use of water resources and the safety of hydraulic structures was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. This training course dedicated to the Water Diplomacy of our country are periodically organized and conducted by the Training Center for Important Areas of Diplomacy of Turkmenistan at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. Halmuhammet Atayev, Head of the Laboratory of Monitoring for Desertification and Remote Methods of the National Institute for Desert, Flora and Fauna of the State Committee on Natural Protection and Land Resources, gave a speech on the topic “Comprehensive Study and Development of Desert Territories in Central Asia”. In his speech H.Atayev noted the importance of the implementation of the national plan for the introducing of a digital system to fight against desertification processes in on territory of Turkmenistan. He also emphasized that the young generation has a great role in implementing tasks of protecting nature, ensuring ecological safety, and observing ecological culture.
At the end of the Water Diplomacy course, the students exchanged questions and answers about topics they were interested in. This training course was very effective
