ANOTHER SEMINAR ON WATER DIPLOMACY WAS HELD
On April 16, 2025, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held another training seminar on "Water Diplomacy" at the Training Center for Priority Areas of Diplomacy of Turkmenistan. The training course on the topic "The Importance of Water Diplomacy in Central Asia" was conducted by Gulshirin Charygulyeva, Deputy Director of the Department of Legal and Special Affairs of the Institute of the Caspian Sea of Turkmenistan.
The lecturer spoke about the principles of Water Diplomacy in Central Asia, cooperation in the field of environmental protection and the main issues arising on the way to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals. She also emphasized the importance of the Resolution “Additional information on the modalities of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries” adopted at the 63rd plenary meeting of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York (USA), on April 11, 2025.
The course on Water Diplomacy turned out to be very effective for students. They received answers to all their questions.
