PARTICIPATION IN A SCIENTIFIC-PRACTICAL CONFERENCE THROUGH DIGITAL SYSTEM
On May 15, 2025, a scientific-practical conference titled “The Great Seljuk State: History, Historiography, and Source Studies” was held at the Seyitnazar Seydi Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute. Professors and lecturers of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan participated in this conference through a digital system.
At the conference, speakers spoke about the history of the Great Seljuk State, its study, and the work currently being implemented in our country to pass this heritage on to future generations. Maya Melayeva, a specialist in Postgraduate Studies at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, gave a presentation titled “The Mausoleum of Sultan Sanjar – An Ancient Monument of the Medieval East.” Lecturer Suray Akmyradova from the Department of Social Sciences presented a talk titled “The Decline of the Ghaznaly State during the Reign of Mesut Gaznaly.” Dilber Hekimova delivered a presentation on “The Development of Science, Education, and Culture in the Territories of Modern Turkmenistan during the Seljuk Period,” as well as instructor Aygozel Ovezova from the Department of World Languages presented on “The Development of Medicine during the Great Seljuk Empire.”
Such conferences create opportunities to study and promote our national history and heritage and to disseminate scientific findings to the global community.
