LECTURE ON THE THEME "DIPLOMATIC PROTOCOL AND ETIQUETTE"
On October 17, 2023, John Simpson, an experienced trainer, skilled in Diplomatic etiquette and protocol visited Turkmenistan. Within the framework of his visit he gave an informative lecture to the students of Institute of the International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The theme of his lecture was an introduction to diplomatic protocol and etiquette.
During the lecture, John Simpson explained in detail the basics of diplomatic protocol and etiquette, as well as the peculiarities of using skill and tact in dealing with others, ensuring that official and unofficial occasions, visits, meetings, and functions are planned and conducted according to formal social and cultural rules and customs. John Simpson exchanged various questions with the students on the discussed them. At the end of the informative lecture, students were delighted to receive very useful information about diplomacy and the key elements of diplomatic protocol.
