Event was held with High School Students
On April 14, 2025, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held an event with high school students from across the country. The event, dedicated to the motto of 2025 — "The International Year of Peace and Trust" — was organized by the “Lingvo Word” and “EcoClub” clubs of the Department of World Languages at the Institute.
During the event, first-year students Meret Meredov from the Faculty of International Journalism and Guvanch Aliyev from the Faculty of International Relations gave presentations to the high school students. They emphasized in detail the peaceful policy of Turkmenistan’s President during the Revival of a New Epoch of a Powerful State — a policy initiated by the Hero-Arkadag that is rightfully enjoying high international recognition.
At the initiative of Turkmenistan, the year 2025 was declared by the UN General Assembly as “The International Year of Peace and Trust,” which is seen as a globally significant event and a real opportunity for a qualitative transition to a new stage in international relations. This step by Turkmenistan is a call to all countries to begin joint efforts involving political, ideological, and practical aspects in implementing the idea of peace and trust as a fundamental principle of global order.
As is well known, the large-scale and progressive transformations carried out in all spheres of public life in the country under the wise leadership of the Head of State continue to enhance Turkmenistan’s international standing. Today, Turkmenistan draws the attention of the global community with its successes and achievements in the political, economic, and cultural spheres, bringing qualitatively new substance to its relations with countries around the world. The unprecedented efforts of our esteemed President are aimed at ensuring a prosperous life for our people.
At the end of the event, participants asked questions, received answers, and exchanged opinions.
