MASTER PHOTOJOURNALIST SHARED HIS EXPERIENCE WITH STUDENTS
On December 24, 2025, a special course on photojournalism was held for fourth-year students of the Faculty of International Journalism of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The course was conducted by Meretdurdy Roziyev, a master photojournalist of the State News Agency of Turkmenistan, who has dedicated his life to this noble profession.
During the lesson, the photojournalist, spoke in detail about his rich experience, the interesting events he encountered along his creative path, and important techniques of modern photojournalism. He also emphasized the importance of composition, lighting, and choosing the right moment for capturing a successful photographs. He also explained the subtle aspects of taking photographs for newspapers, magazines, and online platforms.
The teacher presented his most successful photographs and shared the stories behind the creation of each image. The lesson aroused great interest among the students. At the end of the session the students asked questions of interest to them and received useful advice from the experienced photographer.
This training course provided a strong impetus for the professional development of future international journalists and further broadened their creative horizons.
