OUR NATIONAL HERITAGE – OUR INEXHAUSTIBLE PROUDNESS
On November 20, 2024, a cultural and educational event entitled “Our National Heritage – Our Inexhaustible Pride” was held at the National Museum of Turkmen Carpets for students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
This event was organized by the Ashgabat City Committee of the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
This event was aimed at widely promoting the rich historical and cultural heritage of the Turkmen people, instilling love for the national heritage in the younger generation, as well as deeply studying the great contribution of our people to world culture and highlighting its significance.
The works of Turkmen carpets, which are an integral part of our cultural heritage and are included in the Guinness Book of Records, as well as our woolen and silk carpets, drew attention of guests with their unique patterns, colors and fine art. During the event, students got acquainted with the technology of weaving carpets, their history and role in the culture of the world.
This event gave a great impetus to deepen the students’ understanding of national cultural values, increase their interest in studying and promoting the rich heritage of the Turkmen people. It was emphasized that such events are of great importance in nurturing the patriotic feelings of the younger generation.
