A SEMINAR TITLED “THE UN SPECIAL PROGRAM FOR THE CENTRAL ASIAN COUNTRIES ECONOMICS” WAS HELD
On 4 July 2026, a seminar on the “United Nations Special Program for the Economies of Central Asia (SPECA)” was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The event was organized by the “Young Economists” Scientific Club of the Department of International Economic Relations. Students of the Faculty of International Economic Relations participated in the session.
The lesson was conducted by B. Atayev, a lecturer of the Department of International Economic Relations. During the session, a detailed presentation was given on the regional projects being implemented within the framework of the UN Special Program for the Economies of Central Asia (SPECA), with particular emphasis on the economic importance of the transport and logistics, trade, and energy sectors. Special attention was also paid to Turkmenistan’s important initiatives aimed at strengthening regional economic cooperation, as well as the significance of the country's peaceful economic strategy.
The seminar was productive and engaging, and the students received clear and comprehensive answers to the questions that interested them.
