My mentor teacher
On October 4, 2024, at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs of Turkmenistan, on the occasion of World Teachers’ Day and the 2nd anniversary of
the establishing of the UNESCO Club “Culture of the World” at our institute, a solemn
conference “My Teacher is a Mentor” was held. Representatives of the National Commission
of Turkmenistan for UNESCO, heads of UNESCO departments and clubs created on the
basis of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan, teachers and students of our
institute attended to the solemn conference.
At the beginning of the conference “My Teacher is a Mentor”, a documentary film was
shown dedicated to the life and work of the Hero of Turkmenistan, Ambassador
Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan, Executive Secretary of the National
Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO Chinar Rustemova.
During the conference, the head of the Council of the UNESCO Club “Culture of the World”
of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan,
the head of the UNESCO Department “Cultural Heritage: from the past to the future” of the
State of the Magtymguly University, head of the UNESCO club “Medicinal plants of
Turkmenistan - our health, our heritage” of the State Medical University of Turkmenistan
named after Myrat Garryev, head of the UNESCO club “Languages of the world” of the
Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Doveletmammamet Azadi,
head of the UNESCO club “Ahal-Teke horses - ambassadors of peace” of the International
Horse Breeding Academy named after Aba Annaev, located in the city of Arkadag had a
speech.
During the conference, musical performances took place, which made an unforgettable
impression on the conference participants.
