CEREMONY DEDICATED TO TRANSLATION OF THE COLLECTION OF POEMS OF MAGTYMGULY FRAGI INTO THE KYRGYZ LANGUAGE
On October 17, 2024, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a ceremony dedicated to the translation of a collection of poems by the great Eastern philosopher and poet Magtymguly Fragi into the Kyrgyz language. In connection with this event, an exhibition the cultural values of the Turkmen and Kyrgyz nation was organized in the main building of the institute. This exhibition, reflecting the valuable cultural heritage of two States left a pleasant impression on the participants.
Azizbek Madmarov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan to Turkmenistan; Begench Matliyev, Vice-Rector of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan; Tazegul Khapyzova, scientist of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan; Amangeldi Orazov, senior teacher of Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute and through the via digital Altynbek Maksutov, Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic; Zaynidin Kurmanov, Vice-Rector of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan named after Kazi Dikambaev; Abdyldazhan Akmataliev, Director of Institute of Language and Literature named after Chingiz Aitmatov; Tugolbay Kazakov, composer and National artist of Kyrgyzstan made speeches during the event.
Speakers emphasized that there is great respect for the creativity of the classical poet, and the translation of collection of poems of the wise poet into Kyrgyz makes clear evidence of continuous improvement of the cultural and humanitarian relations between two fraternal nations.
This ceremony also served as a clear demonstration of the global recognition of the works of the great philosopher and master of words, Magtymguly Fragi, which became possible under the tireless efforts of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, and the Esteemed President, Arkadagly Hero Serdar.
