PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST "CULTURE OF PEACE–THROUGH THE EYES OF YOUTH"
On February 17, 2024, at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted an exhibition of drawings submitted for the photography contest “Culture of the Peace–through the Eyes of Youth” among students of the 1st-11th grades of secondary schools in our country on the occasion of the Day of Diplomatic Workers of Turkmenistan. The main goal of the creative competition is to increase the awareness and culture of the younger generation about peace and security on the world. The head of the representative office of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in Turkmenistan M. Fayazi, the teaching staff of our institute and members of the jury participated in the opening ceremony of the exhibition.
Our country under the leadership of the Honorable President with a peace-loving, harmonious, benevolent and humanitarian principle is being promoted in society and everyday life. And these concepts are actively used in foreign policy strategy. Art is a way to reveal creativity of young people. School students from different parts of our country showed special interest in this competition and more than 500 drawing picture were presented, which shows peacefully foreign policy of the country.
The jury members of the competition are A. Tuvakov, a teacher of the Department of Graphics of the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan, O.Mammetnurov, Associate Professor of the Department of the Turkmen State Institute of Culture, People's Artist, Candidate of Historical Sciences and O.Muhammetberdiev, Professor of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy, Doctor of Sociological Sciences, N. Amanmyradov, a senior lecturer at the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan The results of the competition will be announced on February 19, 2023.
