Book Marathon
The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero Arkadag, notes in his book "Continuation of the Meaning of My Life": "We need to form a society of book lovers. In this regard, we can take world experience as a model, use our own, improve some things and enrich them with national flavor. Every year in September, we announce the 'Road Safety - the Serenity of Our Lives' month and we are all witness to how effective it is. It would also be appropriate if we declared a book-reading month in our country every year.” Guided by these wonderful words, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan announces a "Book Marathon" on reading fictions among master's students and students of higher education institutions in the country.
