The conversation club "Let's Speak Up" continues its work
On March 2, 2023, the second meeting of “Let's Speak Up” club took place at the Institute of international Relations of the ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The topic of the meeting was about "Books". Club members chose a book to read in English for a month in order to share their impressions of what they read at the end of the month. “Lets speak up” club is a place for language learners to use English in a casual setting. They have papers in front of them and the rules are fresh in your mind. The students were also involved in the game “Taboo”. In the game "Taboo" you need to quickly explain the word, without naming it or others associated with it. Participants also improved their speaking and public speaking skills by talking about their favorite things they brought to the meeting. At the end of the speeches members of the club exchange their views.
