The Presentation ceremony of the publication of the book “White City Ashgabat” by our esteemed President into the Russian Language
On May 22, 2021, the presentation of the new book of our President "Ak şäherim Aşgabat (White City Ashgabat)" published in Russian, was held in the large assembly hall of the Institute of the International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The professors and teachers of higher education institutions of our country, the heads of foreign diplomatic missions and international organizations in Turkmenistan, the representatives of Mass-media participated in this ceremony.
The perfect music were sounded to the quests performed by “Ruhubelent” group Quartet in the main building of the Institute. So, the opportunity to get acquainted with the Russian edition of the book of our esteemed President “White City Ashgabat” and the exhibition, dedicated to the 140th anniversary of our capital were provided there. The ceremony was chaired by Jumamyrat Gurbangeldiyev, a Rector of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. During the event, Rashid Meredov, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministry of Turkmenistan, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Alexander Blokhin, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Turkmenistan, Natalia German, the Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General for Central Asia, the Head of the United Nations Regional Central for Preventive Diplomacy in Central Asia, Matthew Steven Klimov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States to Turkmenistan , Christine Weigand, the UN Resident Coordinator in Turkmenistan, United Nations Children’s Fund Representative in Turkmenistan, Farrukh Homiddin Sharifzoda, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Turkmenistan, Bayramgul Orazdurdyyeva, the Rector of Magtymguly Turkmen State University, Gulalek Chopanova , a teacher of the Department of World languages of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan made speeches. In their speeches, the participants of the ceremony emphasized that the Russian edition of the book of our esteemed President was once more confirmation of the comprehensive strengthening of Turkmen-Russian relations and friendship between two countries.
At the end of the presentation ceremony, the speakers accepted an Appeal to our esteemed President on behalf of the participants of the ceremony.
