A Debate Tournament dedicated to the International Women’s Day was held
On March 3, 2023 a Debate Tournament dedicated to the International Women’s Day was organized by the Delegation of the European Union to Turkmenistan among students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly, Turkmen National Institute of Foreign Languages named after Dovletmammet Azady, International University of Humanities and Development at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. Ayna Seyitliyeva, the Head of UNFPA office in Turkmenistan, Bahar Hojamuhammedova, the Representative of the Mass Media, Journalist, Bayram Amanmuradov, the Founder of the “Degirmen” Group, Ishan Orazov, the Staff of the EU Delegation to Turkmenistan, Hemra Atabayev, Youth Specialist of the USAID Youth Development Activity Project, Maral Annanurova, the Founder of Akenmar PR agency were fair jury panels in the competition. Moreover, Togan Oral, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkey to Turkmenistan, Luciano Galli, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Italy to Turkmenistan, Renata Wrobel, Deputy Head of the EU Delegation to Turkmenistan attended to this competition as honorable guests. The students who participated in the Debate Tournament competed with each other in pairs and the winners were also worthy to take part in the final round.
The students of the International University of Humanities and Development and Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly attended to the final round and competed with each other. According to the rules of the competition, the students of the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly who participated successfully were winners.
