MEETINGS WITH SCHOOLCHILDREN DEDICATED TO EXPLAINING THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE SYMBOLS OF THE YEAR OF INTERNATIONAL PEACE AND TRUST
On November 14-15 and 19-20, 2025, an educational meeting was held at Secondary Schools in Ashgabat and Arkadag, in accordance with the approved plan. The meeting was organized by the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. Faculty members and students of our institute participated in it.
The lectures was conducted by Merjen Gurbannazarova and Agakuvat Allaberdiyev, lecturers of the Department of International Law and Comparative Law Studies at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, in Secondary Schools No. 17, 18, 19, 26, 38, and 41 in Ashgabat, as well as at the Specialized Secondary Schools 42 and 43.
The aim of the meeting was to explain the meaning of the International Year of Peace and Trust. The teachers and students delivered speeches about peace, friendship, and respect for national traditions. They gave real-life examples and talked about the importance of living a healthy life. They encouraged young people to love their country and to be honest, brave, and hardworking.
During the meeting, teachers provided detailed information on the legal basis for Turkmenistan's Neutral Status, the international initiatives of our Hero Arkadag and our Esteemed President aimed at promoting the importance of Turkmen Neutrality, and the meaning and essence of the 2025 slogan – "The Year of International Peace and Trust."
Presentations and videos praising our neutrality were also shown at the meeting. Students' questions were answered comprehensively, clearly and competently.
