A LEGAL TRAINING COURSE WAS HELD BY AN INTERNATIONAL EXPERT
On November 12, 2025, a legal training course was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan by Professor Dapo Akande, a representative of the National Commission of Great Britain and a candidate for the position of judge at the International Court of Justice. Faculty members and students of our institute participated in it.
During the training, the professor spoke in detail about the legal system of Great Britain and his broad experience in international law, including his work with international organizations, the International Criminal Court, the International Court of Justice of the United Nations, the United Nations International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea, as well as international commercial and arbitration courts and other institutions.
At the end of the session, students asked the professor various questions of interest. Holding such training sessions with international and experienced legal experts greatly contributes to the development of students’ academic and professional skills, increases their scientific and innovative activity, promotes the exchange of best practices and achievements, and helps to expand and strengthen their legal knowledge.
