INTERESTING COMPETITION
On April 29, 2025, the Department of Social Studies at the Institute of
International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held a
competition among first-year students studying the subject "History of European
and American Countries." Professors, teachers, and students of Turkmen
diplomacy took part in the event.
The main goal of the competition was to educate young specialists with a
solid understanding of world history who can contribute meaningfully to the
development of international relations. In this engaging contest, teams of seven
students from each faculty competed against one another.
According to the competition rules, each team introduced itself using creative
methods. The teams developed their own slogans and unique symbols. Following
this, they gave detailed presentations on the political-diplomatic, international-
economic, and cultural-humanitarian relations established between their chosen
country and Turkmenistan, as well as the development of these relations.
Special attention was paid to the speaking skills of the presenters. According
to the third part of the competition, the teams answered questions posed by the
jury. As a result of this competition, the winning teams were awarded
commemorative gifts.
