Online round table meeting dedicated to the 32th Anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Tunisia
On November 29, 2024, an online round table meeting dedicated to the 32th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Tunisia was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The heads, lecturers and students of the institute, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Tunisia, participated in the meeting through the digital network.
The representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tunisia Riadh Dridi and Slim Ghariani, the Rector of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan G. Yusupova, the teacher of the institute H. Nurmammedov, as well as the coordinator of the UNESCO club of the institute, senior teacher A. Ovezova gave a speech at the meeting. The speeches were mainly devoted to the directions of Turkmen-Tunisian relations, cooperation between higher educational institutions and the life and works of the great Turkmen poet Magtymguly Fragi.
During the meeting held through the digital network, the parties exchanged views on the future development of Turkmen-Tunisian relations in the bilateral and multilateral spheres, the stages of further expansion of cooperation between higher educational institutions and the importance of the cultural heritage of the great poet of the East, Magtymguly Fragi in the development of mutual cultural-humanitarian relations.
The organization of this meeting will greatly contribute to the strengthening of bilateral friendly relations, including the development of cooperation in the field of science and education.
